The Lowdown at the Down Low

What is this you might be asking yourself? This is a new podcast series produced by Adventurous Ideas, LLC . Adventurous Ideas produces audio-drama series with a ton of voice actors, writers, composers, and many other talented people. Their first episode of " Heroes of Extinction " went live on Christmas day. The rest of the episode will be released shortly on Spotify, Audible, and other apps. You can listen for me in the laboratory scene. Adventurous Ideas also started a show called " The Lowdown at the Down Low " where cast members are interviewed about their history and what got them into acting, writing, composing, etc. The first episode was released on December 28, 2022. Host Jason Braden interviewed actress Mary Gibbs, best known for her role as Boo in the Pixar film Monsters, Inc. The second episode was released on January 4, 2023. 13th Anniversary of Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!

Wow! Thirteen years since Mike and Sulley made it to the parks. On January 22, 2006, we were introduced to  Monsters, Inc.  Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!  in  Hollywood Pictures Backlot  in  California   Adventure . The space that houses the  Monsters, Inc.  (2001) inspired attraction sat vacant for 4 years while Disney tried to fill its void with a “wanted” attraction. You see, the space once housed  Superstar   Limo , a very mediocre and boring attraction. Guests would ride in a limo through the streets of Hollywood and see celebrities like Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin, Cher, Antonio Banderas, Cindy Crawford, Tim Allen, Jackie Chan, Drew Carey, Melanie Griffith, and Whoopi Goldberg. Upon entering Dream Productions in  Inside Out , you can spot two large monster feet. This is a nod to Ted, the monster whose legs we can see when Mike and Sulley are crossing the street in  Monsters, Inc .
