  In Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), the tank that was used in the black and white propaganda film was an M3 Stuart tank. These tanks were produced in 1941 for the United States Military. In the film, the tank was painted to look like a German tank. This is what real propaganda videos from World War II were really like because the United States couldn’t get their hands on a real German tank to film videos. In 1942, the M5 Stuart was produced.
